About Georgia Apple Festival

The Georgia Apple Festival is a celebration of the apple harvest season in Ellijay, the apple capital of Georgia. This two-day event features over 300 vendors with handmade, hand-decorated crafts, as well as many food booths with apple-themed treats. Enjoy live demonstrations of apple butter making, basket weaving, and other traditional crafts. There's live entertainment on the main stage throughout the event, a parade on Saturday morning, and activities for all ages including a children's area with rides and games. The festival also includes an antique car show on Sunday. Proceeds support local community projects through the Ellijay Lions Club.
